As always a great holiday in the sun in Ischgl! I have been coming to the sun once in winter for many years - from the first minute you feel comfortable in a family atmosphere. The location is excellent, the conversion in 2024 brings many advantages for skiing and snowboarding guests. Keep going, I'm looking forward to the upcoming season!

An unforgettable stay – our absolute favourite hotel in Ischgl! We stayed at the Hotel Sonne for the third time, this time with our 3-year-old child, and it was outstanding as always. BEST LOCATION The location of the hotel could not be better: Located directly on the village road, right in the center, but still pleasantly quiet. The village tunnel to the gondolas is only a few steps away – ideal for starting directly on the slopes or enjoying life in Ischgl. BEAUTIFUL ROOMS The rooms are spacious, very cozy, tastefully decorated and above all: very, very clean! WELLNESS The spa area is just fantastic! The pool as well as the room temperature is pleasantly warm, which is a big plus especially for families with small children. The sauna area is modern, tasteful and perfect for relaxing. KULINARIK The food at Hotel Sonne is an absolute highlight. The choice is huge, the quality outstanding, and each dish is prepared with a lot of love. From traditional Tyrolean specialities to international dishes – everyone will find their favourite food here. Particularly worth mentioning is Iliad, who conjures up the best, freshly made and exceptional omelets at breakfast. Special requests are also dealt with without problems. For us, the food was a real experience, with no wish left unfulfilled! UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE Of particular note is the exceptionally atmospheric atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The decor is noble, warm and incredibly welcoming – just the right mix of stylish design and cosy alpine romance. WARM HOSTS AND BEST SERVICE The hosts and the entire team are incredibly warm, attentive and manage to make every guest feel welcome and appreciated. Of particular note are Vikky and Svenja in service, who have made a lasting impression with their child-friendliness, as well as Steffen, who conjures up the best drinks at the bar. The personal touch, like a birthday serenade on the accordion, makes your stay simply unforgettable. The Zangerl family is always present and takes care of every single guest. Hotel zum Wohlfühlen in toller Lage im Zentrum von Ischgl vorallem auch zum Schifahren 😀 - sehr persönliches Hotel - schöne Dekos - tolles Lampendesign- gemütliche Atmosphäre 😞 - alles wunderbar bis auf die Infrarotsauna, die nur heiß am Rücken ist, sonst aber eher kalt ist.

Great! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sonne. The staff at the hotel - especially the headmen and receptionists - were very accommodating. The rooms were new and beautiful. The location is optimal due to the proximity to the gondola and tunnel.

Sehr entspannter Familienurlaub außerhalb der Hauptsaison. 😀 - Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet und herausragendes Abendmenü. Alles Bestens. 😞 - None

Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 😁 😀 - - Abendmenü und Frühstückbuffet waren jeden Tag sehr lecker! - Das Servicepersonal wie auch die Küche konnte mir immer eine Alternative vorschlagen, falls ich etwas, aufgrund einer Allergie, nicht essen konnte. -Servicepersonal hatte immer einen super Tipp für einen Tagesausflug ( Danke an Svenja für den Tipp Berglisee 😉) -Spabereich hat alles was man braucht (Dampfbad, Sauna und Kräutersauna, Pool, Ruheraum mit Wasserbetten) 😞 - - Es dürfte im Sauna/Dampfbadbereich mehr Tücher haben.

Exceptional 😀 - Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter sind herausragend. Danke für das frühe Frühstück vor dem Start zum Transalpine Run. 😞 - None
