The hiking season is in full swing in Ischgl. The Silvretta Arena can’t be beaten for hiking routes, so it’s naturally difficult to choose the perfect hike. To make this decision a little easier for you, we would like to recommend a beautiful hike once again.
Idalp – Paznauner Taja
The hike from Ischgl to the Paznauer Taja can be completed in about 3 hours, covering 14.5 km by cable car and on foot. The hike is suitable for everyone and is rated “easy”. The starting point is the cable car in Ischgl, where you go up to Idalp at 2,320 metres. From Idalp you then follow the descending path towards Alpenhaus and Vider Alp to Höllkar. Afterwards, you go uphill for a short distance in the direction of Sassgalun. From here, the trail descends again to the Paznauner Taja. The hiking trail offers an impressive backdrop, past flowering alpine meadows. Now you have reached your destination and have more than earned a long break. The best thing is to treat yourself to an ice-cold shandy and a delicious Tyrolean speciality at the hut.
After you have strengthened yourself and recharged your batteries, head back towards the middle station. Here you can either take the gondola down to the valley or master the last few metres of altitude on foot. On the way back, by the way, you pass the “Adventure Stage” adventure area at the Pardatscher and Schwarzwassersee lakes. Here your children can really let off steam and cool off from the hot temperatures at the various water stations.
