This weekend is the starting signal for the summer season 2022 and we are already excited to welcome the first guests. Many highlights await you again this summer. We tell you which events you should not miss!
1st Culinary Way of St. James
An absolute must for gourmets is the Culinary Way of St. James from 09.07. – 17.09.2022. Experience pleasurable moments of indulgence after a leisurely hike, as well-known local top chefs bring a breath of fresh air into the kitchens of seven selected sponsor huts in Paznaun. The dishes created for the kick-off will then remain on the menu of the respective hut throughout the summer.
2. Silvretta Run
Already for the tenth time, the Silvrettarun 3000 on 15 and 16.07.2022 brings hobby runners and trail professionals literally to the summit of running pleasure. On four different routes, the challenging trail run will once again take athletes across the Tyrolean mountains from Ischgl to Galtür.
3. Sunny Mountain Summerparty
But our younger guests will not go empty-handed either. The 16th Sunny Mountain Summer Festival at the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park on 24.07.2022 is all about the family. Before the varied children’s program provides for joyful whoops on the mountain, the day starts with a traditional mountain mass and a hearty morning pint.
The day continues with the Kids Club Paznaun’s colorful children’s program. Bouncy castle, magic show, make-up station, bungee trampoline – with so much to choose from, the little visitors won’t know where to rush off to first!
4. Ischgl Ironbike
Hard, harder, Ischgl Ironbike: The bike race from 03. – 06.08.2022 brings athletes to their limits. Spectators can also look forward to an expo area and numerous side events for the whole family this year! Whether as an athlete or as a visitor: Being there is everything!
5th International Alm Cheese Olympics
Only the best of the best! Because at the international Almkäseolympiade on 24.09.2022 only what has rank and name or the finest ingredients and the best taste to show. More than 100 alpine dairymen from Germany, Austria, Italy, Liechtenstein and Switzerland will again be competing for the coveted title of winner this year. In the spirit of the Olympic Games, the race for the “Golden Sennerharfe” is all about absolute top performance. Because only the top performers in terms of quality, taste and regional ingredients make it onto the podium.
